Christmas Cheese Cake Recipe

Christmas Cake Recipe are abundant, but most of them involve traditional cake recipes. While fruit cake and strawberry cake are all great, those kinds of cakes are not for everyone. Winter time is the time for some nice, hearty food and what is better than a piece of delicious holiday cheese cake? Christmas Cake Recipe are a dime a dozen, but every now and again you come across one that makes its way into your own recipe book. This is one of those recipes that get pulled out to prove that Christmas in your house is something totally different.


  • 2 pounds cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 4 medium eggs
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup candied cherries (green and red), chopped


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. For this Christmas cake recipe, you will need a spring form pan. Butter the pan completely and then sprinkle graham cracker crumbs all the way around it. In a food processor, combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, cream and cream cheese. Blend the mixture until it is completely smooth.

When completely smooth, add cherries to the processor and then give it a quick pulse to mix them in. Lower over to 300 degrees and then pour mixture into spring form pan. Fill second larger pan with water and place pan inside and place in oven to bake for two hours. When timer goes off, turn oven off and leave cake in warmed oven for another hour. Remove cake from oven and place on plate upside down to remove from pan. Allow to cool and then place in refrigerator for service.

To add the Christmas spirit to this cake, spread some more candied red and green cherries on top. It can also be topped with any pie filling for a combination of flavors.
