Now you can have your cake and eat it too! This is true because this cake is baked with Splenda, the zero calorie sweetener. Splenda pours and measures the same as sugar. Best of all it taste delicious. For the frosting put the Splenda in your blender until you get the look of powdered sugar. This recipe is easy to bake and most of all guilt free.

Ingredients

Cake

  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa
  • 1 cup Splenda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • ½ tsp. vanilla

Frosting

  • 2 cups Splenda
  • ½ cup cocoa
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Method

1. Stir together flour, cocoa, Splenda, salt, and baking soda.

2. Add eggs, oil, and milk, stir well.

3. Next add boiling water and vanilla, mix well.

4. Pour batter into baking pan lined with parchment paper.

5. Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Frosting

1. Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan.

2. Bring to boil, and boil for 1 minute.

3. Let cool and beat with mixer for 2 minutes.

4. Frost the cake.

5. Lite Chocolate Cake is ready.
