Chocolate cake is the favorite choice of all cakes among many, and not just by chocoholics. Using cocoa powder in the cake recipe gives it the special home baked flavor. This recipe is easy to make. It has a good moist texture, and most of all it is yummy to taste. I have frosted this cake with prepared frosting, but you could also just dust the top with some powdered sugar or leave it alone, and serve as is. The choice is yours.

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 ½ tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup boiling water
Method
1. Preheat oven at 325 degrees.
2. Grease and dust with cocoa powder a 9×13 inch baking pan.
3. Combine all ingredients together in large bowl.
4. Stir until well blended.
5. Beat for 2 minutes.
6. Pour into the pan, and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
7. Cool, and turn over onto serving plate.
