No Bake Cheesecake

The cheesecake dates back to ancient Greece, where it was a popular dish. Later it was actually served to the athletes at the first Olympic games in 776 BC. Eventually it became known as a famous restaurant dish. These days it’s not only served in restaurants worldwide but also can be found in any variety of recipes to cook in your own home. This recipe is for a easy no bake cheesecake. It can be served plain, with a fruit topping or with a drizzle of chocolate. Either way it is just plain great.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Serves: 8


  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 ½ cup whip cream
  • 2 cups graham crackers crushed
  • 1 stick butter (½ cup) – melted



Stir together in a large bowl the cream cheese, sugar, salt, milk, lemon juice and vanilla.

Beat until smooth and well mixed.

Fold in the whip cream until it is mixed well.

Spoon into the graham cracker crust.

Crush graham crackers in blender.

Place in pie or cake pan with butter. Press into pan.

Chill in refrigerator for 3 hours and serve.
