Milk Cake

  • 1 liter milk
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon tartric powder
  • 100 gm sugar
  • 1 teaspoon corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon saffron soaked in
  • 1 tbsp water
  • ½ teaspoon green cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoon fresh cream
  • Dry fruits (cashews, almonds, pistachio)
  • Silver foil to decorate


Bring milk to boil and lower the flame. Add the tartric powder and lemon juice until the milk starts curdling. Cook it till that time until it gets half in quantity. Now add sugar to it and stir well. Cook it till it thickens. Now dissolve corn flour in a bowl with milk and add this to the thickened milk. Simmer it for 5 minutes. Now add saffron and stir it.

Now take a plate and grease it. Pour out the cooked thickened milk onto it and let it cool on room temperature. Once it cools down garnish it with chopped dry fruits of your choice. Decorate it silver foil. Your milk cake is ready to eat.
