Butter Cake Made With Pineapple

The main ingredient for this cake recipe is pineapple. The pineapple in the cake batter adds to the flavor of the cake and makes it moist to eat. The recipe for this butter cake made with pineapple is quite simple to bake. It requires very little time to bake. You can decorate the cake with powdered sugar or vanilla glaze to heighten its flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 butter cake mix with pudding in it
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese

Cooking Process:

It is always a good practice to first prepare the cake pan and heat the oven. To get the cake pan ready, take a 12 cup Bundt pan, and grease and flour it. Now, heat the oven to 325 degrees F. After greasing the pan, separate the crushed pineapple from its juice using a strainer. Remember to drain all the juice.

In an electric mixer, blend the cream cheese, oil and eggs together in a large bowl. You need a large bowl, as you will be mixing all the ingredients in this bowl. Now, add the cake mix into the bowl and blend at high speed for 2 minutes. Mix the pineapple and lemon juice. Also, blend them in till they combine properly.

Pour the cake mix into the Bundt cake pan and bake for 45 to 55 minutes, or till the time a skewer when inserted comes out without any mixture stuck to it. Now, allow to cool for 15 minutes and then turn the cake upside down onto a plate or dish you want to serve it in. Also, frost the cake with the vanilla glaze or powdered sugar before serving it.
